Check your spam folder first — codes come from an address you haven't written to before. Codes expire after about an hour, and you can request a new one after sixty seconds. If several attempts fail, wait a few minutes: there is a limit on how often codes can be requested for one address, to stop the system being abused.

Because a password you reuse elsewhere is a liability, and one you don't reuse is one you'll forget. Leafline emails you a code instead. Nothing to remember, nothing to leak.

That's deliberate. A Moment marked further into a book than you've read is hidden, because notes pinned to a page are spoilers by nature. It unblurs on its own as you read past that point, and you can always reveal one early by tapping it.

Nobody, until you choose. Every Moment starts private. Sharing one makes it visible to people who follow you — not to everyone, and not to search engines. You can make any Moment private again at any time, from the Moment itself.

Yes. EPUB, PDF and audiobook files can be imported from the Files app. They stay on your device and are never uploaded.

Search for it, then use "Request this book". Add the author and any detail about the edition or narrator you'd like, and it comes straight to us.

Yes. Your position is saved on the device immediately — so it survives with no signal — and mirrored to your account when you're online, so another device picks up where you stopped.

Both live in Profile. "Export My Data" gives you a file with your profile, shelf, reading progress and every Moment. "Delete Account" removes all of it permanently and immediately. Export first if you want to keep a copy — deletion can't be undone.
